Dr Alexander Iosad

Dr Alexander Iosad is acting director of the Government Innovation Policy team at the Tony Blair Institute, leading research on governing in the age of AI. His work focuses on the steps political leaders around the world can take to harness artificial intelligence to improve public services. He has deep expertise in education, with a track record of collaboration with ministers in Africa and Europe, sector bodies, development banks and international agencies. His background includes roles in education technology venture capital as well as public sector and innovation consulting. He also holds a DPhil in history of science.
